Burnsville is a suburb just south of downtown Minneapolis on the banks of the Minnesota River. Originally a rural Irish farming community, Burnsville has quickly jumped to the ninth largest suburb in the metro area. Home to 3,300 acres of parks and wildlife, Burnsville is fifteen minutes from Minnesota Zoological Gardens, Valleyfair Amusement Park, Mystic Lake Casino, as well the Mall of America.
Burnsville has a wide variety of facilities and activities available for the whole family! In addition to a large assortment of family parks, Burnsville plays host to archery ranges, skate parks, indoor and outdoor skating rinks, community gardens, as well as a wide range of youth and community programs offered year round.
